Online application is now open for the 5th Advanced Course on Diagnostics (ACDx).
Applications must be received in full by 18th April 2014.
The Fondation Mérieux and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine are organising the 5th Advanced Course on Diagnostics. The Course aims to advocate the value of diagnostics and to build capacity in critical decision making in diagnostics by providing scientists and decision makers with a comprehensive overview of the global landscape of diagnostics research and development, and appropriate use of quality-assured diagnostic tools to improve global health.
We invite applications from scientists and decision makers involved in the development of diagnostic tools or in the design and implementation of strategies and policies on the use of diagnostics in the control of infectious diseases at national and international levels. Participants will be selected by an international scientific committee according to pre-agreed selection criteria.
A number of fellowships covering full attendance will be provided for selected participants from developing countries. Please cascade this information through your networks and on to any colleagues or collaborators who you think might benefit from attending.
The course will run from Sunday 7 September 2014 to Saturday 13 September 2014 and will be held at Les Pensières Conference Centre, Annecy, France.
More information can be found on the Fondation Mérieux website.
